1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) describes rules for acceptable use of Internet service provided by B2BHD.TV LLC d/b/a Finally Fiber, associated network resources, and Finally Fiber-provided or managed equipment. For purposes of this Policy, “Finally Fiber” refers to B2BHD.TV LLC doing business as Finally Fiber.
This Policy applies to the account holder and anyone the account holder permits to use the Service. It is part of the Finally Fiber Terms of Service. Customers are responsible for making authorized users aware of these rules.
2. Prohibited Uses and Activities
You may not use the Service, Finally Fiber network, or Finally Fiber equipment to engage in unlawful activity, infringe the rights of others, compromise security, interfere with the network, or materially diminish other customers’ ability to use the Service.
Unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent conduct
- Use the Service for an unlawful purpose or to transmit material that is unlawful, threatening, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
- Send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (“spam”), operate phishing schemes, forge sender information, impersonate another person or entity, or falsify message headers.
- Harvest email addresses, account identifiers, or other information without authorization.
- Use the Service in violation of rules or terms that lawfully apply to a network, system, service, website, or application you access.
3. Security and Technical Restrictions
- Do not access, attempt to access, probe, scan, or test another person’s device, account, network, server, or data without authorization.
- Do not distribute or use malware, ransomware, password-stealing tools, unauthorized packet-capture tools, keystroke loggers, Trojan horses, exploit tools, or similar technologies for unauthorized purposes.
- Do not conduct denial-of-service attacks, flooding, deliberate overloading, unauthorized port scanning, or other activity intended to disrupt a network, system, service, or user.
- Do not tamper with, alter, bypass, or interfere with Finally Fiber equipment, network controls, management access, or security settings unless authorized by Finally Fiber.
- Do not manually use an IP address or network configuration not assigned or authorized by Finally Fiber. Customers assigned static addressing must use only the settings supplied for their Service.
4. Servers, Sharing, Resale, and Business Use
Unless expressly permitted by your service plan or a written agreement with Finally Fiber:
- You may not resell, re-provision, redistribute, or commercially provide the Service to others outside the premises or service location.
- You may not operate the Service as an Internet service provider or public hotspot.
- Residential Service is intended for personal use, including ordinary remote work and telecommuting. Business, association, bulk, property-management, or other organizational use is permitted only where the applicable plan or agreement authorizes it.
- Public-facing servers or services that create material security, abuse, or network-performance concerns may be restricted. Finally Fiber may require a different service arrangement for high-volume, commercial, or specialized server use.
5. Customer Responsibility and Security
You are responsible for use of the Service by household members, guests, employees, or other people you authorize to connect through your account or local network.
You are responsible for securing devices and customer-owned equipment connected to the Service. Finally Fiber recommends strong passwords, current security updates, appropriate Wi-Fi security, and reasonable protection against malware, botnets, unauthorized access, and other threats.
File, printer, or device sharing should be configured securely and only when you understand the risks associated with making resources available to others.
6. Network Management
Finally Fiber uses reasonable network-management and security practices to maintain reliable service, protect customers and network infrastructure, mitigate attacks or abuse, and respond to congestion or operational problems.
Finally Fiber does not currently impose monthly data caps on its standard Internet plans. Network management may include blocking malicious traffic, mitigating denial-of-service attacks, responding to spam or security incidents, rerouting traffic, temporarily limiting traffic that is actively harming the network, or taking other reasonable measures necessary to protect service quality and security.
Network-management practices may evolve as technology, traffic patterns, security threats, legal requirements, and network conditions change.
7. Violations and Enforcement
Finally Fiber may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may take reasonable action to protect the network, other customers, and third parties. Depending on the circumstances, actions may include warning the customer, requesting corrective action, blocking malicious traffic, limiting specific abusive activity, suspending Service, or terminating Service.
When practical and appropriate, Finally Fiber prefers to notify customers and provide an opportunity to correct inappropriate activity. Immediate action may be taken without advance notice when necessary to protect network security, prevent significant harm, comply with law, or respond to serious or repeated violations.
Finally Fiber does not undertake a general obligation to monitor the content of customer communications. It may monitor network traffic, usage, performance, and security information to the extent reasonably necessary to operate and secure the Service, investigate abuse, enforce this Policy, and comply with law.
8. Legal Process and Cooperation
Finally Fiber may preserve or disclose relevant information when required by lawful process or when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the network, enforce applicable agreements, or protect the rights and safety of Finally Fiber, customers, and others.
Finally Fiber may cooperate with law-enforcement agencies, courts, government authorities, upstream providers, and other network operators when legally required or reasonably necessary to address network abuse or security incidents.
9. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Customers may not use the Service to infringe copyrights or other intellectual-property rights. Finally Fiber may forward notices of alleged infringement, take action against repeat or serious infringers, and respond to valid legal requests as required by applicable law.
Copyright owners who believe Finally Fiber Service has been used in connection with infringement may send a written notice to mike@finallyfiber.net. Notices should include enough information to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing activity, contact information for the complaining party, and any statements or signatures required by applicable law.
A customer who believes a copyright complaint was made in error may contact Finally Fiber using the same address. Any counter-notice should satisfy applicable legal requirements.
10. Changes to this Policy
Finally Fiber may update this Policy as network technology, services, security risks, legal requirements, and business practices change. Material updates will be communicated using a reasonable method such as website posting, email, account notice, or other customer communication.
