Finally Fiber Customer App • Android

Let's install the app on your Android phone.

There are two ways Android may offer to install the app. We'll show you both, step by step, so you know exactly what to tap.

✓ Free for Finally Fiber customers   ✓ No Play Store download   ✓ No password to create

Read these steps first.

When you're ready, use the large Open Finally Fiber App & Begin Installation button at the bottom. Your phone may automatically offer to install the app. If not, we'll show you where to find the installation option in Chrome.

1Before you begin

Use Google Chrome on your Android phone.

Read the steps below first. When you're ready, tap the large Open Finally Fiber App & Begin Installation button at the bottom of this page.

The Finally Fiber app website will open. Make sure it opens in Google Chrome.

If it opens in another browser or inside an email app, open Google Chrome and type app.finallyfiber.net.

2Look for an install message

Did an installation pop-up appear?

Some Android phones automatically show a pop-up asking whether you want to Install Finally Fiber.

If you see it, tap Install or Confirm. If another confirmation appears, approve the installation.

If no installation message appears, that's normal! Skip ahead to Option B — Install using Chrome's three dots below.

3If a permission appears

Allow notifications if your phone asks.

After you install, your Android phone may ask whether Finally Fiber can send notifications. If it asks, tap Allow.

If it doesn't ask, that's okay. You will have another opportunity to enable notifications inside the Finally Fiber app after verifying your service location.

If the app has installed, you can skip Option B and continue to Finish Setup below.

Use these steps only if you did not already install the app.

4Open Chrome's menu

Tap the three dots at the top right.

While the Finally Fiber website is open in Google Chrome, look in the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap the button that looks like three dots stacked vertically ⋮.

A menu will open.

5Find install

Scroll down and select the install option.

Scroll down in the menu until you see Install and create shortcut.

It may have a small screen with a downward arrow beside it.

Tap it. Some versions of Chrome simply say “Install app.” If you see that instead, tap it.

6Choose the app — not the shortcut

Select the Finally Fiber app with the download arrow.

If Chrome presents two choices, choose Install app — usually the first option, showing the Finally Fiber icon with a small downward arrow.

Do not choose “Create shortcut.” That choice may show the Finally Fiber icon with a small Chrome logo and only opens the website in Chrome.

Some Android phones skip this choice and go straight to the Install confirmation. That's fine.

Follow these last steps whether you used the pop-up or Chrome’s menu.

8Check your installed apps

Make sure Finally Fiber is listed on your phone.

Android does not always put a new app icon directly onto one of the pages alongside your other apps.

To check the installation, open your phone’s Settings, tap Apps (or See all apps), and look for Finally Fiber.

If you see Finally Fiber in the list, the app is installed.

You may be able to search for “Finally Fiber” from the Apps screen instead of scrolling through the whole list.

9Find the FF icon

Find the Finally Fiber icon on your phone and tap to open.

Look for the Finally Fiber icon alongside your other apps.

If you don't see it there, open your phone’s list of all apps (often by swiping up on the main phone screen), find Finally Fiber, and tap it.

Your phone's Settings → Apps list confirms installation, but the icon in your all-apps list is usually the easiest way to open the app.

10Verify your location

Tell the app which Finally Fiber account you use.

When the Finally Fiber app opens, select your property, enter your unit number, and enter the last name listed on your Finally Fiber service account.

After verification, enter your own name when prompted.

No email login or password is needed. Other people in your household can install the app on their own phones too.

11Turn on outage alerts

Tap Enable Notifications, then Allow.

Need a little help?

I don't see an automatic install message.

That's okay. Follow Option B above: Chrome's three-dot menu → Install and create shortcut → Install.

How can I tell if I installed the app, not just a shortcut?

Open Settings → Apps and find Finally Fiber. If the icon has a small Chrome badge and only opens a browser tab, you may have created a shortcut instead.

I can't find the Finally Fiber icon.

Open your phone's all-apps list and search for Finally Fiber. The app may be installed even when it doesn't appear alongside your other app icons.

My phone isn't showing outage notifications.

Open Finally Fiber and check Enable Notifications. Then look under Settings → Apps → Finally Fiber → Notifications and make sure alerts are allowed. Menus may vary by phone.
